Race #3 THROW DOWN IN ETOWN (Buffalo Lake Trail) – Sept. 24, 2023
BUFFALO LAKE TRAIL
Riders will start from the infield generously provided by Boilermakers Local 40 located at 429 Commerce Drive and dive into the undulating and twisty single-track that Buffalo Lake is famous for. Racers will pass over the historic rock bridge rumored to have been constructed by the original residents of the area over 500 years ago. As riders climb Devil House Hill they should be on the lookout for the Kentucky Sasquatch known to roam that area. Finally, racers will ride across the Buffalo Lake levee providing ample opportunity to attack and pass their competitors before diving back into the single track and the finish leg. Spectators will have two areas in the shade of trees close to the start finish to observe riders as they navigate this demanding course. Address and Directions

Volunteering
Race day would not be possible without the incredible work of our volunteers. It takes a “village” to put on quality youth mountain bike races. Many parents and cycling enthusiasts find that getting involved with our events is a fun and rewarding experience.
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday positions are available
We know some positions can look complex and possibly overwhelming for first-time volunteers. Rest assured ALL of our volunteer positions are fun and require no previous experience and our Core Race Staff are with you every step of the way. You will feel confident and well prepared for your task.
